The work that I am going to do in Brazil is funded entirely by donations, primarily from people in the USA. My prayer is that God will allow me to connect with people who will contribute not out of guilt or obligation, but because they truly believe in the growth of His kingdom and want to be a part of that. Below is some information about the financial aspects of the ministry and how you can join in if you decide to do so.
The Numbers
My projected ministry budget is $46,800 for the first year. This number was established by Campus Outreach based on historical expenses from staff living in Belo Horizonte. This amount will cover my living expenses, health insurance, and some ministry expenses as well. If that sounds like a large number, consider that the cost of living in Belo Horizonte is actually higher than in South Carolina and that the dollar is currently weak against the Brazilian Real.
